Eurotour Day 3, Nikos Ekonomopoulos of Greece gets the title

Nikos played solid during the whole tournament and had to win against Wojciech Szewczyk of Poland for the title.
Some of the spectators called Wojciech god of billiard because of his beautiful stroke. It was also a pleasure for me to watch the 17 year old kid.
Nicolas Otterman of Germany and Marcus Chamat finished third. Artem Koshovyi, Roman Hybler, Niels Feijen and Bruno Muratore shared the fifth place.
A strong playing Phil Burford shared the 9th place with Ralf, Nick, Darren, Oliver some others.
It’s always beautiful in St. Johann and worth to come for the Eurotour. So hopefully I will see you again next year.

Eurotour St. Johann Alpendorf Day 2

Another beautiful day here in St. Johan in Austria. Whenever you get the chance to play here…dont wait. I think it’s one of the most beautiful venues.
Just one step outside the tournament area and you get the most beautiful view (I attached a photo at the end of the gallery). And at the very end you will see some funny photos with lots of cameras and Erculj Matjaz with funny dots on his body. Why that?
The Austrian federation did a research about body movement, stroke and the impact on the cueball with motion tracking and highspeed cameras.
They capture the cueball with 5000 frames per second. Motion tracking was done with several cameras. Very interresting to watch.
Enjoy the gallery guys 😉

All information about the venue (including Draw & Results)can be found here: http://www.eurotouronline.eu/

Eurotour St. Johann Alpendorf Day 1

Here we are again 😉
After a four hour drive I arrived in Alpendorf, checked in and went with my new gear to the tournament.
Meeting old friends again and shooting photos that’s what I came for. And that’s what I did 😉
I’m getting a little bit sick of shooting on and on the same pool photos. Pool needs some new style in the photo galleries and I think I’m the first who tried it like that.
I hope you guys enjoy my “new style” and I would be more than happy for any comments and thoughts about that kind of (pool) photography
