WPA World Championships Youth & Wheelchair Willingen Day 4
Sorry for the delay guys, but I was a little busy after flying home. As usual you get all the information about the tournament on the WPA website, but this time I would like to tell you a little bit about the results and my favorite game during the finals:
Kamila Khodjaeva won clearly against Oliwia Czuprynska… It felt like Oliwia was with her thoughts far away from the Table.
Cheng-Chieh Liu played stronger then Tobias Bongers and claimed the title.
My favorite game was Between Jouni Tahti and Larsson Henrik. Jounai started with some good racks until he played a save. Hernick kicked that save in (long kick, object ball sticked to the cushion) , after that a thin cut, a bank and some other great shot, the…this rack was really great!!!

WPA World Championships Youth & Wheelchair Willingen Day3
What a long day yesterday….sitting here With Samm, Marc and Bill at the breakfast doing the pictures, because it was soooo late yesterday…(it was great talking to you Henrik 😉 )
The tournament was very exciting yesterday…a lot of great matches and emotions.
I used a new technique to capture a player around the table…check it out in the gallerie.

WPA World Championships Youth & Wheelchair Willingen Day2
After a short night I went directly to the tournament area and to a great breakfast afterwards. The place here is great, full of beautiful views and snow outside and great food and rooms inside. A lot of games today means also lots of pictures.

WPA World Championships Youth & Wheelchair Willingen Day1
What a exciting day…I will see my friends from over the pond again.
I left Vienna early today for my flight to Frankfurt…from Frankfurt it was a three hour trip by bus to Willingen. When I arrive at such a event it’s always a tiny little bit like coming home…meeting the Pool family 😉 After checking in I went direct to the tournament area to meet Samm and the players for some photos and after that we joined the opening ceremony.
