Orchids – focus stacking

Posted on September 30, 2012October 1, 2012 By Markus

My girlfriend wanted me to shoot some photos of her beautiful orchids. I just thought that might be a good idea for a focus stacking project.
So I took a tripod, a cam and a macro lens, sunlight some time and that’s the outcome.
First I started stacking with Photoshop CS6 (also manually), then I tried Helicon Focus and at the end I got the best results with Zerene Stacker. There was no need to retouch the image after processing.
Highly recommend that software!!!
Enjoy watching!!!
