I’m a big fan of night photography, and I also love medium format cameras. That’s why I recently traveled to Vienna to capture some street photography with my trusty Mamiya 645 AFD. I decided to use an old (and probably expired) Kodak Tri-x film for my project. I pushed it to ASA 6400, which gave me some some room to use my Mamiya Sekor 80mm 2.8 and the 35mm 3.5. A lot of people suggested using xtol, but I went with the ADOX XT3 because it’s broader available. (which is supposed to be similar or the same). At the end, the Tri-X film was super contrasty at 6400, but I’m really happy with how some of the photos turned out. Next time I want to shoot HP5 and develop it in HC110. Lets see how that turns out.
