Goodbye Little
After 10,5 years little, our German shepherd passed away. Our little sweet baby….with so much need for love…always patiently and also playful….laying beside me….sometimes silently barking and moving your legs during your dreams. That’s how I miss you…. You were a part of our life and we will never forget you. (Click…
Last day in Beijing
So how was Beijing? I got a lot of nice meals here, saw the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. We went to a go-kart track….I had there some issues with my body size and the seats 😉 but it was a lot of fun and I finished second ;-). I saw…

Yalin Billiards
I had the great honor to visit Yalin Billiards factory. It’s the biggest factory of billiard tables in China.
After I met the President we had a great lunch there, played pool and I learned the proper way to drink Chinese tea and of course I visited the factory. Thank you for being such a nice host.
For sure my cameras were with me ;-)

China Open Day 7 and 8 (final day)
Again I slept only some hours on both days….but somehow I got it done.
On day 7 we saw many amazing matches and run outs….Shane ran 4 or 5 racks and Zhang Yulong ran 7 racks against Efren. He did a push for a jump bank shot, Efren gave it back and he made it….amazing.
On day 8 I saw Alison Fisher playing against Chen Siming in the Finals….it was a tight match but @ 7:8 Alison missed a tough long ball she had to jack up and winner cleared the table.
At the men division it was not that tight because Zhang Yulong played like a machine and potted many tough shots and won against Antonio Lining
Sitting now with all the guys in the bar finishing my work….that was Shanghai…next stop Beijing for some days off…..see you on one of the next venues….

China Open Day 5 (start of the tournament)
There is no Day4 because of a big holiday here…
What a long day today…..its after 8 in the morning and I finaly finished with the pictures.
I went at about 11:30 to the tournament area to pick up my press pass. Sadly the did not find it but with a helpfull chinese girl I got thru everything and got it at the end.
Also I had to wear this funny yellow jacket (it says elephant king….whatever that means ;-))….Little strange from my point of view because photographers should wear more dark stuff to do not disturb the players when moving….
After a nice opening ceremony the tournament started. (Get ready for a many many pics today)
There was a lot of light in the big hall but because of the light came only from big lamps on the ceiling the faces of the players were very dark and I had a hard time to find the right settings for the pictures……still not that happy with it.
At the TV tables and at the practice area are the lighting conditions much better.
After a while I was getting hungry and Niels gave me a hint about a super market across the street.
It is super close to the area and you get all the healthy food there…..got some realy nice apples ;-)
I can’t give you details about all the matches because I am focused on my photo stuff. But this two links will show you the results:

I just can tell you that I saw some realy great shots when I was moving thru the area.
After the tournament I went with Sarah, Brtiney, Kelly, Gerda, Penny, Joanne and Corey for dinner and after chatting with Britney, Ruslan and Tony I went back to my hotel @ about 2am…
