The Rocking Kat – Tintype Portrait

Posted on March 5, 2025March 5, 2025 By Markus

Kat is a rock singer, I met her at a concert and I think about a year after that we finally managed to work together. You can find her instagram here https://www.instagram.com/the.kat.music/ and here https://www.instagram.com/kat.stocker/ Music: https://linktr.ee/the.kat.music

The first portrait gives me vibes of the singer Madonna. Thats why I chose some 80th pop music for the video. The second one is pure rock.

For all English speaking people, turn on the subtitles, I translated everything we talked about.
Again I choose a more “honest” way to capture this video. I think it’s more interesting to see how I really work and how much fun shooting art can be.
During the conversation with Kat I switched pretty quick to our typical Austrian dialect. I’s very interesting to see that the English translation is quite long for how we use our Austrian dialect. Some stuff is said sometimes with one or two words and means a lot more…
